APARTHEID MUSEUM AND SOWETO TOUR

The tour includes a visit to the Apartheid museum.  The Apartheid Museum opened in 2001 and is acknowledged as the pre-eminent museum in the world dealing with 20th century South Africa, at the heart of which is the apartheid story. Then a drive through Soweto past the FNB Stadium, Baragwanath Hospital, Freedom square, Regina Mundi church, Izak Morrison School, Hector Peterson Square with a visit to Mandela House. A professional tourist guide will accompany the group.

The Aptheid Museum tour is designed for age groups from Grade 6 to grade 9.  NO children younger than Grade 6. Grades 6 to 9 children will each be given a booklet to work with in the museum.
